Yes, 2014! It's time to start the discussion about what the team ironman will be next year so people can plan ahead and be ready for registration. Below is a list of the north america ironmans plus brazil. Please post your preference(s) so we can get to planning! Thanks!!

Ironman Texas  - mid May (The Woodlands, Texas)
Ironman Brazil - end of May (Florianopolis Island, Brazil)
Ironman Coeur d'Alene - mid/end June (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho)
Ironman Lake Placid - end of July (Lake Placid, New York)
Ironman Mont Tremblant - mid August (Quebec, Canada)
Ironman Canada - end of August (Whistler, British Columbia, Canada)
Ironman Louisville - end of August (Louisville, Kentucky)
Ironman Wisconsin - early September (Madison, Wisconsin)
Ironman Lake Tahoe - end of September (Lake Tahoe, California)
Ironman Florida - early November (Panama City Beach, Florida)
Ironman Arizona - mid November (Tempe, Arizona)

I heard the Albrecht's are thinking about Brazil too ;)

I might be up for Florida. Might...

I might be taking a break next year on any Ironman's, but if I do race, my pick would be Ironman Wisconsin!

I am thinking Ironman Texas OR Brazil

and then Whistler OR Lake Tahoe.

this albrecht plans to be knocked up in 2014. so far my plans go pretty well according to schedule.

i suggest brazil for 2016

I'm totally on the fence. I'm not even sure I could get through a Sprint, actually I know I couldn't get through a Sprint Tri right now. That said if I was to race Ironman in 2014 it would more than likely be back at IMLP.

I think Zoya is sold on Ironman Louisville - but I'm trying to get her to do a different one :)

I'm the spousal supporter for 2014.

IM Texas would be good to get in, nice and early. Ironman Cozumel isn't on the listing, and would certainly be a good, post-Thanksgiving, Pre-Christmas race, in a nice setting.
Or, maybe i'll be babysitting for the Albrechts that year.

May in general is too early for us since that's peak kid activity season - ideally anything July or later I could probably be talked into... but a nice beach would be a bonus, and a later race would enable folks to split up their season - could potentially have 2 team races - May and Oct/Nov?

I am doing Louisville this year for my first one. If I survive I would be up for doing another one anywhere where it is warm.

I have friends who own a cabin in Tahoe. We may be able to rent it out as a Team House.

As a side note. I could not get into Forida last fall. It filled up on me within three minutes as I was sitting at the computer hitting the refresh button. I heard they had a large amount of volunteers and returning athletes who took all the spots.

I am pretty set on doing my first IM next year at whichever race the team agrees on. I'm not too picky... as long as it's BRAZIL :)
